The centre is the heart of Amsterdam. There is plenty to do and to find such as the most famous shops, canals and a walk on the Red Light District. You can entertain yourself for hours or even days in Amsterdam Center. Those who like to go out for shopping will find the Kalverstraat or the Van Baerlestraat with the most famous stores here, but you can also find the nine streets where you will find the little boutique shops here. In addition, the PC Hooftstraat is a shopping street where you can find the most exclusive brands. Cozyness is everywhere in Amsterdam, but in the Jordan and the Nieuwmarkt are a lot of bars and restaurants where you can get something to eat and where you can have a drink. This also applies to the Red Light District. You can make great hikes, but you can also stroll through this neighbourhood and then drink a cup of coffee at one of the cafes. Would you rather get a taste of culture? Then you’ll find the most unusual museums, including the Rijksmuseum, the Van Gogh Museum and Stedelijk Museum. Everything is within walking distance of each other, but riding around with a tram through Amsterdam is highly recommended and very fun to do! In the evening you can go to one of the cafés on the Leidseplein or Rembrandtplein to conclude this pleasant day and maybe even have a dance. In short, there is plenty to do in the center of Amsterdam.
